Senior Marketing Manager

Contract: 9-month FTC

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

MLC Partners are delighted to be supporting a leading professional membership and education organisation to recruit a Senior Marketing Manager on a 9-month fixed-term contract.

This is a broad, hands-on leadership role with responsibility for overseeing the planning and delivery of integrated marketing activity across the organisation. You’ll lead an established marketing team, ensure campaigns and resources are effectively prioritised, and work closely with senior stakeholders to translate organisational objectives into high-quality marketing activity.

The Role

Reporting into the Head of Marketing and Digital, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day operational delivery of the marketing function. Alongside managing and developing a team, you’ll oversee multi-channel campaigns, marketing planning, performance reporting and brand consistency, while helping to continually improve how the organisation engages its audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of integrated marketing activity across multiple organisational areas.
• Manage, coach and develop a team of Marketing Managers and digital/content professionals.
• Oversee campaign scheduling, team workloads, priorities and resource allocation.
• Ensure marketing activity across owned, earned and paid channels is aligned, audience-focused and consistent with brand standards.
• Use audience insight, market research and performance data to evaluate activity and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, providing marketing expertise, advice and constructive challenge.
• Oversee marketing budgets, campaign performance and reporting, ensuring resources are used effectively and deliver strong return on investment.

About You:

• Significant experience working at Senior Marketing Manager, Marketing Manager or equivalent level within a complex organisation.
• Strong experience developing and delivering integrated, multi-channel marketing plans.
• Proven experience managing, coaching and developing marketing professionals.
• Confident managing multiple projects, stakeholders and competing priorities simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, content, CRM, email marketing, analytics and performance reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to influence and advise colleagues at all levels.

Experience within a membership organisation, professional body, healthcare or education environment would be advantageous, as would experience supporting brand implementation or digital transformation.
