This leading capital markets institution has been going through a significant period of growth over the last couple of years and now offers prominent solutions across the Equity and Fixed Income markets, including a highly successful Prime Brokerage offering. It’s a really exciting time for the business, with lots of positive change taking place. The institution is also renowned for providing career development opportunities to its staff and offers hybrid working conditions, with three days currently spent in the office each week. This is a 12 month fixed contract with a view to potential permanent employment.

This is an exciting opportunity to join their Client Services team supporting their UK and European businesses team playing a key role in the continued development of the business, supporting client relationships, regulatory enablement and the ongoing improvement of onboarding processes. Working closely with Front Office, external clients and a broad range of senior stakeholders, this role offers excellent exposure across the Capital Markets business, with the opportunity to contribute to strategic initiatives, improve operational processes and help shape the end to end client onboarding experience. (This is NOT a AML/KYC onboarding role)

To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to identify an experienced Client Onboarding, Trade Control, or Operations professional, ideally with at least three years’ experience within a Capital Markets environment. You will need a solid understanding of onboarding institutional clients, Capital Markets products and business models, with exposure to supporting client onboarding and lifecycle management across Sales & Trading. Experience working with onboarding institutional clients (in an Investment Banking / Corporate Banking /Capital Markets environment) is essential. Initial creation or adjustments to Client/Counterparty data will be a skill needed for this role, and an understanding of corporate AML/KYC, tax requirements and regulatory frameworks, including Dodd-Frank, EMIR, MiFID and SFTR, would also be beneficial. As this role directly supports and interacts with the Front Office teams, CassonX are looking for someone who can showcase this type experience, especially where you will need to make sure they are kept well informed.

This is a role for someone who is proactive, commercially minded and willing to roll up their sleeves to make things happen. You must be comfortable taking ownership of the end to end onboarding process, chasing outstanding documentation, challenging stakeholders when necessary and ensuring accounts are opened in a timely and compliant manner. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, as you will act as a key point of contact for both clients and the wider business, working closely with Front Office, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Technology and Change Management. The ability to influence decisions, negotiate priorities, manage difficult conversations and resolve issues without losing sight of the client experience will be critical. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a demanding, fast paced environment are also key.
