£90,000-£115,000 + bonus | Remote-first | UK-wide

We're working with a leading technology consultancy that is expanding its Data & AI capability and looking for an experienced Data Architect to join at Manager level.

This is a remote-first opportunity, open to candidates across the UK. You'll work with a range of clients on complex data transformation programmes, providing architectural leadership across data structures, data flows, data sourcing, governance and modern data platforms.

Experience working within public sector or healthcare environments would be particularly valuable, although candidates from other sectors will also be considered.

The Role

As a Data Architect, you will:
  • Lead the design and delivery of data architecture across complex transformation programmes.
  • Provide SME guidance across data modelling, data structures, data flows, metadata, transformation, migration and master data.
  • Work closely with clients and senior stakeholders to understand requirements and develop fit-for-purpose data solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership, assurance and architectural direction to delivery teams.
  • Support technology and product selection at project and enterprise level.
  • Establish and promote data architecture standards and best practices.
  • Contribute to data governance and information management strategies.
  • Work across modern data platforms, including data lake and cloud-based ecosystems.
  • Mentor and develop junior architects and technical team members.
  • Help shape the wider Data & AI capability and contribute to new client opportunities.
What We're Looking For

Essential:
  • Strong experience working as a Data Architect within a technology consultancy or professional services environment.
  • Strong technical expertise across data modelling, data architecture, data migration, data transformation and master data.
  • Proven experience providing technical leadership across complex data projects.
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with at least three mainstream data technologies.
  • Experience supporting technology selection and architectural decision-making.
  • Experience mentoring, coaching or managing technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of modern data architecture and emerging data technology trends.
Desirable:
  • Experience within public sector or healthcare.
  • Data governance and information management experience.
  • Experience designing data lake / modern data platform architectures.
  • Enterprise Data Architecture experience.
  • Experience working across heterogeneous data stores and information environments.
Package & Working
  • £90,000-£115,000 base salary + bonus
  • Remote-first, UK-wide
  • Must be UK-based
  • Consultancy background essential
  • No sponsorship available
This is an opportunity to join a growing Data & AI practice, working on complex transformation programmes while having genuine influence over architecture, technical direction and client outcomes.
