This is a senior delivery role with responsibility for projects spanning areas such as HR, Finance, Risk, Legal and Client Operations. You will combine technology delivery expertise with a strong understanding of business change, helping us implement enterprise technology solutions that improve processes, support colleagues and deliver measurable business outcomes.

As Lead Project Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional technology and business change initiatives, including the implementation and upgrade of enterprise SaaS platforms.
Working closely with functional leaders, technology teams and external delivery partners, you will help define technology roadmaps, redesign business processes and ensure that new solutions are successfully adopted and embedded into business-as-usual operations.
The role extends beyond traditional project execution. You will act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders, helping them understand technology opportunities, make informed investment decisions and manage the operational and organisational impact of change.
You will also work closely with colleagues across Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Cyber Security and Workplace Technology to manage dependencies and ensure that projects align with the wider change portfolio.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading cross-functional business and technology transformation initiatives across our corporate and shared services functions.
- Managing enterprise SaaS platform implementations and upgrades from business case development through to implementation, adoption and benefits realisation.
- Working with business leaders to define target operating models, business processes and technology roadmaps.
- Ensuring technology investments align with strategic business objectives and deliver measurable benefits.
- Acting as the link between business stakeholders, technology teams and external delivery partners.
- Leading business change activities, including stakeholder engagement, communications, process redesign, training and adoption.
- Assessing organisational readiness and supporting the successful transition of new solutions into business-as-usual operations.
- Identifying opportunities to simplify, standardise and improve business processes.
- Providing consultative leadership on technology opportunities, delivery approaches and investment decisions.
- Influencing senior stakeholders and facilitating effective decision-making across multiple business functions.
- Managing multiple concurrent initiatives, ensuring they are appropriately planned, resourced and governed.
- Preparing and leading project boards and stage gate reviews, reporting progress and escalating risks or issues where required.
- Leading multidisciplinary project teams and workstreams, ensuring responsibilities, outputs and accountabilities are clear.
- Managing project budgets, change control, third-party vendors, systems integrators and software suppliers.
- Ensuring solutions support regulatory requirements, compliance obligations and enterprise data governance.
- Overseeing project closure, including business-as-usual transition, post-implementation reviews and benefits reviews.
- Contributing to the continued development of project management governance and methodology.
Person Specification:
The ideal candidate will be an experienced and credible delivery leader with a strong track record of managing complex business and technology change. You will be comfortable operating across multiple functions and technology platforms, bringing business and technology stakeholders together around a shared vision.
You will be able to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels, from operational teams through to executive leadership. A consultative and influential approach will be essential, alongside the ability to navigate ambiguity, balance competing priorities and maintain a strong focus on outcomes and benefits realisation.
You will have:
- Demonstrable experience of delivering complex, cross-functional business and technology change initiatives.
- Significant experience of implementing enterprise SaaS platforms within corporate functions such as HR, Finance, Risk, Legal or CRM.
- Experience of cloud and SaaS transformation, including the replacement of legacy systems.
- A proven track record of delivering both technology implementation and the associated business change and adoption.
- Experience of delivering integrated solutions across multiple business functions and technology platforms.
- A strong understanding of business process mapping, process redesign and operational workflow optimisation.
- Extensive stakeholder management experience, including engagement with executive and senior leadership teams.
- Experience of managing third-party vendors, systems integrators and software suppliers.
- Experience of leading multidisciplinary teams through full project and programme lifecycles.
- Experience of working within a regulated environment.
- A recognised project management qualification, such as PRINCE2.
- Strong working knowledge of Agile and hybrid delivery approaches.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, analytical and decision-making skills.
