We are seeking an Associate Vice President to join our Corporate Research team, supporting coverage across the Consumer, Retail and Consumer Goods sectors.Thisroleofferstheopportunitytodevelopdeepsectorexpertisewhilecontributinghigh-qualityresearch,financialanalysisandmarketinsightsthatsupportlendingdecisions,clientengagementandbroaderbusinessactivitiesacrossthebank.
The successful candidate will combine strong analytical capabilitieswithcommercialawareness,providingtimelyandinsightfulassessmentsofindustrytrends,companyperformanceandcreditfundamentals.Thisisanexcellentopportunityforanambitiousprofessionallookingtobuildacareerinsectorresearchandcorporateanalysis.

Key Responsibilities

• ConductresearchandanalysisacrosstheConsumer,RetailandConsumerGoodssectors,monitoringmarketdevelopments,competitivedynamicsandemergingtrends.
• Analysecompanyfinancialstatementsandoperatingperformancetoassessbusinessstrength,financialhealthandcreditquality.
• Supporttheproductionofsectorresearch,companyprofiles,industryupdatesandthematicreportsforinternalstakeholders.
• Monitorperformanceanddevelopmentsacrosskeyindustryparticipants,identifyingopportunitiesandrisksrelevanttothebank.
• Assistinevaluatinglendingopportunitiesandtransaction-relatedactivitiesthroughdetailedcompanyandsectoranalysis.
• Gatherandsynthesiseinformationfromarangeofsources,translatingcomplexdataintoclearandactionableinsights.
• Preparepresentationsandbriefingmaterialsforseniorstakeholders.
• Workcloselywithcoverage,credit,riskandproductteamstoprovidesectorintelligenceandanalyticalsupport.
• DevelopexpertiseintheConsumerandRetaillandscape,buildinganunderstandingofkeymarketdriversandlong-termindustrytrends.

Candidate Profile

Experience

• Approximately1-2years'experienceinresearch,banking,creditanalysis,consultingorarelatedanalyticalrole.
• ExperiencewithinConsumer,RetailorConsumerGoodssectorsisadvantageousbutnotessential.
• Exposuretofinancialanalysis,companyassessmentorindustryresearch.
