Training and Competency Supervisor - #2164505

Our client a major UK financial advice network is looking for experienced Training and Competency Supervisors to support their current Advisers.

You will oversee, mentor, and monitor the training, competence, and regulatory compliance of a portfolio of financial advisers or representatives, ensuring high ethical standards, good customer outcomes, and strict adherence to internal and FCA rules (such as the Senior Managers and Certification Regime - SM&CR).

You will be engaged via an Umbrella company on a contract basis for an initial period of 6 months.

Training, which will last around 5-7 days, will be on the clients site in Swindon but once completed you will work on a remote basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising Advisers through the initial and ongoing stages of the T&C scheme, via coaching, meetings and evaluation of KPI’s
• Demonstrating and applying understanding of internal Business Standards
• Completion of 121s as required, and the ability to analyse KPI data provided
• Completion of annual role-plays
• Ensuring Adviser records are kept up to date

Qualifications: Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or an equivalent qualification recognised by the FCA); additional specialist modular exams (e.g., CF6, J07, or CEMAP) are often desirable.

Experience: Minimum of 2 to 5 years working within financial services, specifically in a T&C, compliance, or supervisory role.
