Description

• Define and implement the strategy for a new insurance-focused advisory business, with opportunities across the London Market and wider insurance sector.
• Identify attractive customer segments, market opportunities and areas for future expansion.
• Leverage expertise gained across insurers, brokers, MGAs, reinsurers, underwriting businesses or related insurance organisations to shape commercial strategy.
• Develop business cases, market assessments and new service propositions aligned to client needs.
• Create and launch differentiated research, insight and advisory products for the insurance market.
• Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders across the insurance ecosystem.
• Secure early commercial wins, validate market demand and contribute to sustainable revenue growth.
• Establish scalable operating models and support the ongoing development of the practice.

Profile

The Successful Applicant for Director - Insurance Research & Strategy

• Deep understanding of the insurance market, gained from any relevant sector, organisation or advisory environment, with a track record of originating insurance industry relationships.
• Experience leading consulting, research, strategy or advisory engagements for senior insurance decision-makers.
• Proven success in originating and winning new business, developing client relationships and driving revenue growth.
• Entrepreneurial approach with experience building new offerings, practices, products or commercial ventures.
• Ability to shape market propositions and take them from concept through to successful launch and growth.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of identifying opportunities and converting them into tangible outcomes.
• Credible communicator capable of influencing C-suite stakeholders and acting as a trusted adviser.
• Motivated by the opportunity to combine the agility of a start-up environment with the resources of an established organisation.
