SEN Teaching Assistant (ASD)

About the RoleAre you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school in Hackney as a Special Educational Needs Teaching

Assistant (SEN-TA).

In this role, you will provide dedicated 1:1 and group support to students with ASD, helping them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. You’ll work closely with teachers, parents, and the wider school community to ensure every child reaches their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide tailored 1:1 and group support for students with ASD in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

• Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.

• Collaborate with teachers to create engaging and accessible learning experiences.• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student well-being.
