For our Employee Experience team this means our people. As an Employee Experience Director, you'll lead our dedicated HR operations, Learning & Development, and Front of House teams (which includes our facilities), driving initiatives to ensure that we can grow with speed whilst migrating as much as possible against "growing pains" to ensure we sustain our culture of excellence and high performance. What You'll Be Doing

Lead a team across People, Front of house and Learning /Development EED with a focus: building a brilliant employee experience focused on growth and change, while aligning people strategy to business goals.

This isn't about tweaking policies. It's about building and scaling a people function that genuinely works for the business and its great people.

  • Own the People & Culture strategy - from high-level planning to hands-on delivery.
  • Present the annual People Plan and key results to senior leadership aligned to our growth plans.
  • Lead on engagement, internal comms, career frameworks, onboarding, and diversity & inclusion.
  • Work closely with the Managing partner and senior leaders to advise on people-related decisions.
  • Partner with Finance and Governance teams to ensure budgets, behaviours and policies are aligned.
  • Oversee organisational design and change, including how teams are structured as the business grows at pace and pivots through both Organic and Inorganic activity.
  • Design and evolve career development frameworks to support retention and growth.
  • Manage the employee engagement agenda through in-person events and cultural initiatives.

What We Are Looking For

You don't need to tick every box, but ideally, you'll bring:

  • Experience leading people teams in fast growing environments.
  • Expert at dealing with change and times of pivoting.
  • A mix of strategic leadership and hands-on delivery - you're as comfortable in the weeds as you are in the boardroom. We like to get stuff done.
  • A track record of building strong cultures, driving engagement, and embedding values in real, practical ways.
  • Experience designing career frameworks, engagement strategies, and comms that land well with teams.
  • Empathy, clarity, and a genuine passion for making the people's experience better.
  • Confidence working with executive-level stakeholders and the ability to influence at the top table whilst being brave and authentically you!

  • Promote a frictionless, OnDemand and high customer service approaches, in all you do!

Plus.

  • CIPD Level 5 or above.
  • Has proven success in HR leadership roles, with expertise in employee experience, diversity, and neurodiversity.
  • Able to use and get even more out of our investment in our HRIS - Hi Bob and ensure this is our 1st stop shop for all data and requests.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Combines strategic thinking with a hands-on, people-first approach.
  • Excels in communication, data analysis, and building strong relationships.

Time scales:

w/c 9th of June - 1st stage with line manager via teams

w/c 16th of June - 2nd stage in person meeting at Eltham offices

w/c 30th of June - Final stage panel presentation in person at Eltham offices

Offer by 4th of July and to commence in role asap.
