C# .NET Developer - Global Investment Bank - London

My client, a leading global bank is looking for a C# .NET Developer to join its technology team in London, supporting critical business applications used across international markets.

This is a hands-on role focused on desktop application development (WPF / WinForms) combined with ongoing production support and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain C# .NET desktop applications (WPF / WinForms)
• Work across the full development lifecycle (design, build, testing, release)
• Support and troubleshoot production systems and live environments
• Collaborate with global teams including infrastructure, support, and business users
• Contribute to system improvements, upgrades, and performance optimisation

Essential Skills

• Strong experience with C# / .NET
• Proven experience with WPF and/or WinForms
• Experience developing desktop-based applications
• Ability to support and troubleshoot live systems

Desirable Skills

• Experience with SQL (SQL Server and/or Oracle)
• Knowledge of database querying or scripting (T-SQL / PL/SQL)
• Exposure to financial services or banking environments
