The Financial Accountant will play a vital role in overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance, and supporting the Accounting & Finance department within the property industry.

Description

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies as required.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities for the organisation.
• Ensure compliance with tax filings, including VAT and corporation tax.
• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the audit process.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to aid decision-making within the Accounting & Finance department.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Profile

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

• AAT qualified, or part qualified ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent)
• Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
• Strong knowledge of ERP and expense software, Microsoft Dynamics an advantage.
• An analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience in the property sector or a related industry is advantageous
