Working Pattern: 2-3 days per week in office

We’re partnering with a highly regarded specialist reinsurance broker to hire a Broker Support / Account Handler to join their growing Energy & Renewables team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with London Market experience to work closely with experienced brokers, supporting complex reinsurance placements while developing strong technical exposure across Energy, Renewables, and Downstream risks within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support brokers across a busy reinsurance portfolio
• Draft placement documentation, including slips (up to 100 per month at peak)
• Manage end-to-end placement support from submission through to post-placement
• Ensure accuracy across documentation, compliance, and operational processes
• Liaise with brokers, underwriters, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Support finance processes including premiums, payments, and reconciliations
• Maintain strong adherence to regulatory and compliance standards

Requirements:

• Experience in London Market insurance or reinsurance
• Strong advantage if experienced in faculative reinsurance and slip drafting
• Previous or current experience within Energy / Energy Reinsurance would be a bonus
• High attention to detail and ability to manage volume work
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Keen interest in developing within the reinsurance market
