Network Design Engineer - #2110376

My client is seekingan experienced Network Design Engineer to support a major FX trading platformprogramme. The role will focus on the design, implementation and enhancement ofcomplex, low-latency network infrastructure within a large-scale financial marketsenvironment.

£700 per day (InsideIR35)
London (Hybrid, 3days per week)
12 Month Contract

Key Requirements

• Demonstrableexperience in a Network Design Engineer, Network Architect or Senior NetworkEngineer role
• Strong enterprisenetwork design and implementation experience within large-scale environments
• Deep understandingof routing and switching technologies
• Proven experiencedesigning and supporting multicast network environments
• Strong firewallexpertise across Fortinet, Palo Alto and/or Check Point
• Extensive F5 LoadBalancer experience
• Experience workingwith NAT technologies, including source NAT and destination NAT
• Previous experiencedelivering network solutions within financial services, trading, capitalmarkets or other low-latency environments
• Experience producingand reviewing detailed network designs and technical documentation
• Ability to engageeffectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels
• Strong understandingof network security best practices

Nice to Have

• Cisco Fabric (ACI)
• Juniper and/or Arista
• CCIE certification
• Firewall migrationprogrammes
• Data centretransformation or network modernisation experience
• Trading platform experience
• Immediatelyavailable or able to start at short notice
