We are currently seeking an experienced Corporate Loans Middle Office Analyst to join a busy loans team on a 6-month contract.

This role is suited to someone with strong experience across Corporate and Syndicated Loans, particularly Par Loans, with hands-on exposure to the end-to-end loan closing lifecycle.

You will be responsible for supporting the processing and execution of corporate loan transactions, from reviewing documentation through to closing and settlement. The role will involve working closely with a range of internal teams and external counterparties to ensure transactions are completed accurately and within required deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage and support the end-to-end loan closing and settlement lifecycle for Corporate and Syndicated Loans.
  2. Review loan documentation and credit agreements and complete relevant checks throughout the transaction process.
  3. Work predominantly across Par Loans, supporting transactions through to completion and settlement.
  4. Liaise with internal teams and external counterparties to resolve queries and ensure timely transaction completion.
  5. Manage loan transfers, settlements, payments and other transaction activity.
  6. Utilise ClearPar and other loan processing systems as part of the day-to-day loan closing process.
  7. Work with loan documentation and market conventions in line with LMA/LSTA standards.

Key Requirements

  1. Minimum 3–4 years' experience within Corporate Loans Middle Office, Loan Closing or Syndicated Loan Operations.
  2. Strong experience across the end-to-end loan closing lifecycle.
  3. Experience reviewing loan documentation and credit agreements.
  4. Par Loans experience is essential.
  5. Knowledge of LMA and/or LSTA documentation and market conventions.
  6. Hands-on experience using ClearPar is essential.
  7. Experience with Loan IQ or similar loan processing systems would be beneficial.
  8. Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive transactions.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced loans professional to join an established team and take on a hands-on role within the Corporate Loans Middle Office function.
