Design Manager - #2132548

We're looking for an experienced MEP Design Manager to support the delivery of a major data centre project in Norway.

You'll take ownership of the day-to-day design management process, coordinating Mechanical and Electrical design packages, managing change and keeping weekly deliverables moving. This will allow the wider project leadership team to maintain oversight while you drive the detail of design delivery.

The position is fully remote, although occasional travel would be beneficial if you're open to it.

What you'll be doing

• Managing MEP design packages through project delivery
• Coordinating weekly design deliverables and deadlines
• Managing design change control
• Working across Mechanical and Electrical disciplines
• Tracking design progress and resolving delivery issues
• Coordinating with engineering teams and senior project leadership

What we're looking for

• Strong MEP Design Management experience
• Mechanical or Electrical Building Services background
• Previous data centre project experience
• Experience managing multidisciplinary design packages
• Strong understanding of design change control
• Able to confidently manage detailed design delivery independently
• Flexibility for occasional travel would be advantageous

The opportunity

£70-£81 per hour, Outside IR35, on an initial 6-month contract, working remotely on a major European data centre project.
