A private Family Office is seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join the business on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be a hands-on finance professional with strong bookkeeping expertise, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

A private Family Office is seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join the business on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be a hands-on finance professional with strong bookkeeping expertise, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for three entities
- Process approximately 100-200 transactions per month
- Complete monthly bank reconciliation
- Prepare monthly management accounts
- Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns in line with Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements
- Some private household accounting tasks including payroll and making payments
- Assist the CFO with ad hoc finance tasks as required
- Prior experience working as a Senior Bookkeeper within a Family Office environment.
- AAT qualified (or equivalent) is desirable
- VAT Marginal relief experience
- Prior experience of management accounts preparation
- Proficiency using Xero (essential)
