Communications Business Partner

Dalkia Engineering is a leading Tier 1 Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) engineering contractor, delivering complex, technically demanding projects across healthcare, nuclear, defence, government and infrastructure sectors.

Health, safety, environment and security sit at the heart of everything we do it's our first priority, before anything else, and we need someone who can tell that story with as much care and creativity as they tell the story of our technical delivery.

We're looking for a self-motivated Communications Business Partner to support our Business Development and Work Winning teams, developing marketing and communications activity that supports our growth plans and builds our profile as a leading M&E contractor. Your enthusiastic approach will help generate new business opportunities, tell the story of our biggest projects, and build our credibility across the sectors we operate in.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Support flagship campaigns such as “Zero Harm”, showcasing our commitment to health, safety, environment and security
  • Develop case studies and content showcasing our successful M&E projects and partnerships
  • Use social media, press releases and success stories to build our profile across healthcare, nuclear, defence and infrastructure
  • Develop a PR campaign highlighting our project delivery, including case studies and media outreach
  • Develop thought leadership content on our technical capability and sustainability credentials
  • Manage tender procurement portals and support the tender response process with high-quality content
  • Build a stakeholder engagement plan covering clients, government agencies and industry partners
  • Engage our people through regular internal communication, events and feedback channels
  • Work with the wider EDF Group communications function to leverage Group resources and expertise
  • Support CSR programmes in partnership with the Group CSR function
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and support “go to market” activity with the Business Development team

What We're Looking For

  • Excellent communication and copywriting skills
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate projects and hit deadlines
  • An eye for detail, with excellent grammar and proofreading skills
  • A creative thinker, able to read a brief and elaborate on it, working closely with technical and project teams
  • Confidence liaising with stakeholders across the business
  • A genuine appreciation for the importance of health, safety, environment and security in our industry
  • A genuine interest in the M&E, engineering and construction sector

Qualifications

Essential

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in marketing, communications or a related field
  • Evidence of successful marketing and communications initiatives
  • Understanding and experience of social media channels for B2B communication and marketing
  • Confidence using Microsoft software, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Desirable

  • Experience using a CRM (Salesforce advantageous)
  • Design skills, with the ability to create engaging content using Canva or similar software
  • Experience working within a Tier 1 contracting or engineering business
