We are currently recruiting on behalf of a professional London-based organisation for a Receptionist to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced front-of-house professional who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys delivering exceptional customer service.This position is fully office-based and requires an individual who can confidently manage reception duties while providing administrative support to the wider team. As the first point of contact for visitors, clients and colleagues, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment.

Your new role
As a receptionist within the business, the role will involve, but not be limited to, the following:

• Welcoming and greeting customers, visitors and colleagues to the office
• Assisting with visitor registration and access passes where required
• Answering incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately
• Keeping the reception area clean, organised and professional at all times
• Managing incoming and outgoing post, deliveries and couriers
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of office operations
• Providing general administrative support including scanning, filing, photocopying and document management
• Assisting with meeting room bookings and company meeting arrangements
• Supporting the preparation of reports, presentations and office documentation
• Assisting with invoice processing and other ad-hoc administrative duties as required

What you'll need to succeed

• Have previous reception, front-of-house or administrative experience
• Be professional, personable and confident when dealing with visitors, clients and stakeholders
• Present yourself to a high professional standard, maintaining a smart and polished appearance suitable for a front-of-house role
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Have strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Be able to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrate a proactive, flexible and team-oriented approach
• Have a strong customer service mindset and professional telephone manner
• Take pride in creating a positive first impression and delivering an exceptional visitor experience
