Are you a receptionist who naturally stays two steps ahead, enjoys being the face of a business and take pride in delivering an exceptional first impression?

We are looking for an experienced Receptionist to join a prestigious investment firm based in the City of London, providing dual reception cover on an initial one-month basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced, corporate investment environment where standards are high, expectations are equally high and no two days are the same.

You will be joining a busy, professional front-of-house team, acting as the first point of contact for clients, senior stakeholders and visitors. The role requires someone who is naturally switched on, incredibly organised and able to anticipate what needs to happen before being asked.

This is not a role for someone who simply sits behind a desk waiting for the next visitor. We need someone who is engaged, commercially aware, confident and able to think on their feet. Someone who can juggle multiple demands, remain composed under pressure and deliver a consistently exceptional level of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing a professional front-of-house reception cover.
• Acting as the first point of contact for clients, visitors and senior stakeholders.
• Coordinating visitor arrivals and ensuring a seamless guest experience.
• Managing meeting room bookings and ensuring rooms are prepared to an exceptional standard.
• Liaising with internal teams to coordinate meetings, refreshments and office requirements.
• Anticipating requirements and proactively resolving issues before they arise.
• Providing wider office and administrative support when required.

About You

• You must have at least 3 -5 years of previous experience within a corporate reception or front-of-house role, ideally within financial services or investment banking.
• Exceptionally professional and confident in your communication.
• Naturally proactive, with the ability to think two steps ahead.
• Highly organised, adaptable and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
• Able to remain calm, composed and personable in a demanding environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service.
• Someone who takes ownership, uses initiative and understands the importance of discretion and confidentiality.
